Trump's last tweet
(too old to reply)

Why are they torturing the Donald with three setbacks in just one day?!

o Strike 2 on his attempted Muslim ban

o Scoffs by Republicans regarding his allegation of being wiretapped

o Round rejection of Trumpian populism by the Dutch electorate

Perhaps Donald should swipe a line from Tricky Dicky's last press
conference, taking one last, pouty jab at the media: "You won't have
Trump to kick around any more, because this will be my last tweet."

Of course it turned out not to be his last press conference and he went on
to win two more presidential elections. Is that what you foresee for Trump?

No, it was not Nixon's last press conference. And I don't expect Trump
to stop tweeting any time soon. But just for the record, per the 22nd
Amendment to the US Constitution (ratified in 1951), no one may be
elected to the office of President more than twice. So, please pardon
me Philip, but Nixon never did "win two more presidential
elections"... that would have been impossible.

Language, Philip. If you had just said "went on to win two
presidential elections", there was no issue. But you said that he
"went on to win two _more_ presidential elections". The gratuitous
word, "more", implies that he somehow served more than two terms as
President... even though he actually served less than two terms as
President. Of course, given the fact that he had not yet been
President when he gave his infamous "last press conference", you must
have meant that he went on to win two presidential elections. I was
just clarifying, in case anyone was confused, that 2 is the limit.
